A few days after the release of his new song NocturneLondon-based guitarist and singer-songwriter Josh Edwards, aka Blanco White, announces its first time in Italy Tuesday 20 November at Circolo Ohibò in Milan. I tickets will soon be on sale on Vivaticket e Ticketone (online and points of sale). Access to the concert will require the ARCI card.
Nocturne is a gently haunting miniature of distant landscapes and flowing emotions. Enlivened by the enchanting vocals that have secured an international following for this growing British artist, Nocturne is the first in a series of singles to be released over the summer. Despite only releasing two EPs so far, this young artist has racked up over 40 million streams, sold out concerts in New York, Amsterdam, London, Groningen and Switzerland, and received promising reviews from The Independent, CLASH and many other newspapers.
Blanco White is the solo project of Londoner Josh Edwards. Having studied the guitar in Cadiz and the charango in Bolivia, Edwards mixes elements of Latin American and Andalusian music with Anglo-Saxon influences. The result is more than exotic: it is mystical. Josh released its self-produced debut EP The Wind Rose on label Yucatan Records in early 2016, and during the same year recorded the second EP Colder Heavens together with producer Ian Grimble (Bear's Den, Matt Corby, Daughter), which was favourably received by critics. Now the guitarist embarks on a new autumn tour, which will also take him to Italy.
