The Prodigy announce a European tour this autumn to mark the release of their seventh studio album No Tourists (BMG)which will be released on 2 November and will be greeted by the first date of the tour, scheduled for the same day in Glasgow. The trio will be in Italy for two concerts: Friday 30 November at the Modigliani Forum in Livorno e Saturday 1 December at the RDS Stadium in Rimini.
The influence of Prodigy on the last generation is indisputable, thanks to their power to turn metal kids into ravers and vice versa. Since their debut, the Prodigy have been outlaw revolutionaries, giving birth to albums that have mixed, disrupted and redefined genres: in short, they are not tourists and never will be.
Over the years, the band has racked up six albums that reached position #1 on the world charts with respectable awards (two Brit Awards, two Kerrang! Awards, five MTV Awards and two nominations at the Grammy) as well as having sold 30 million copies and played in front of millions of people all over the world. Although many things have changed in the social and musical scenario, what remains a constant for the Prodigy is to do things their own way, and in 2018 the band's irrepressible spirit is much needed in the world music scene.
