AUDIOSLAVE AT FLIPPAUT WILL ALSO PLAY TRACKS BY RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE AND SOUNDGARDEN

Almost unimaginable news coming from the voice of Tom Morello Audioslave will also play live some tracks from the Rage Against the Machine e Soundgarden. And the thousands of fans of the two lost bands cry out for a miracle. Tom Morello's riffs on historical Soundgraden songs (such as "Spoon Man", "Black Hole Sun", "Jesus Christ Pose") and Chris Cornell's vocals on the raging "Killing in the Name of", "People of the Sun", "Sleep Now on the Fire": it promises to be an unmissable scenario on 2 June at the Flippaut Festival in Bologna, since Audioslave will also have the opportunity to present their new album, "The New Yorker".Out of Exile"in shops from 24 May.

The choice to dredge up tracks by RATM and Soundgarden stems - in Morello's own words - from the full identity assumed by the band in the last two years, which has taken Audioslave away from the fears of easy comparisons with the two bands of origin.

Of the new work 'Out of Exile', we have already had the opportunity to preview the first single, 'Be Yourself". The tracklist is as yet unknown, at the moment only the titles of a few songs are known ('Doesn't remind me' 'The worm', 'Your time has come', 'Out of exile', '#1 zero', 'The curse', 'Be yourself').
Now on the group's official website www.audioslave.com is possible see also the video of 'Be YourSelf', set in a Los Angeles hotel.

Audioslave will be the headliners at the Flippaut Festival in Bologna on Thursday 2 June (Republic Day). On the same day also Prodigy, Slipknot, Shadows Fall and many others. For information : www.flippaut.com
