We are pleased to announce that the Uncle Bard & The Dirty Bastards, an Italian formation but deeply in love with Ireland, join the big family Barley Arts.
Established in 2007, the Uncle Bard & The Dirty Bastards They offer a unique blend of celtic rock and traditional Irish music. Uillean pipes, tenor banjo, mandolin, Irish flute: there are few bands in the folk rock scene capable of competing with the knowledge that the Bastards have on Irish music, society and culture.
This boundless love has made the Bastards were the first Italian band to perform at the Dublin Irish Festival in Dublin, Ohio, the most important Irish festival in the United States. In recent years, the band has played over 400 concerts worldwide, participating in events such as Rock the Ring e Toggenburg Irish Festival(Switzerland), Aymon Folk Festival (France), Sjock Festival (Belgium) and many others, as well as having shared the stage with Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Kensington, Volbeat, Frank Turner e The Dubliners.
In 2022, to celebrate their first 15 years in business, they release with the British label Angel Air Records the compilation The Story So Farwhich brings together twelve original songs and an unreleased version of Molly Maguires as a bonus track.
