Much more than a concert: those who attended the two summer dates of the THE CHEMICAL BROTHERSwhich were staged less than a month ago in Milan and Rome, witnessed a spectacle of music, images and technology that is difficult to forget.
The two Italian 'nights' last June, a preview of the European tour, left more than ten thousand fans speechless, and the same show will be brought back to Italy next winter, this time for a single date in BOLOGNA, 27 November, at the Palamalaguti.
The Corriere della Sera reviewed 'magnificent sensations'. As we said, in addition to the music, the large-scale, high-definition visuals that accompanied the two hours of concert time contributed to making the night in the company of the Chemical Brothers quite atmospheric.
After the lead single 'Do it again'abum was published at the end of the month We are the nightofficially presented during their date at the Rome's Foro Italicowhich was packed for the occasion on 16 June.
The pair's new album effort went straight to number six in the Italian best-selling albums chart, the highest foreign new entry of the week.
The story of the 'Chemical Brothers' began in university lecture halls in Manchester in the early 1990s. The first big step came in 1995, when Virgin released their debut album 'Exit Planet Dust', but it was with their third album 'Surrender' (1999), driven by the hit 'Hey Boy, Hey Girl' (still one of the most danced to tracks in Italian discos), that THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS reached the peak of their fame, becoming one of the icons of international electronic music. Their success continued with great albums such as 'Push the Botton' and the new 'We are the night'.
