CARNIVAL IN VIA TORTONA IS AT THE GOOSE: CARNEMVALE 2013, AN INNOVATIVE PARTY

A 21st century masked ball in a modern key, a review of past and present ways of partying, like so many masks, each with its own spirit of sociability and artistic style.

The multifaceted variety of content on offer and the compulsory dressing-up contribute greatly to creating a genuinely carnival-like, playful and divergent atmosphere (for those who turn up in clothes "civilised', the staff provides a team of costume designers and various dressing-up materials).

From 6 p.m. the stalls and bars will open, street performances by acrobats, acoustic bands and itinereants, games and video and light installations will start.

From 11 p.m. the music in the street stops, the little ones go home, in the halls the tempo is increased, on the stages there are breathtaking DJs, guests from abroad, Italy and Milan's best party organisations dance until the end of the party in the Ballroom.
The festival will involve everyone, from families to young people, naturally distributed according to their own schedules and interests in the programme of activities.

An ideal event to act as a trait d'union between tradition and avant-garde in a ritual festival as old as Italy itself. And this is the philosophy of the organisers, opposticoncordi in fact, who, thanks to the collaboration of the Associazione d'Arte Venduto and the commissioned management of OCA Barley Arts, are this year proposing part of the street festival for free, to further stimulate the participation of the entire citizenry and the dance between generations.
