Californian metal outfit BAD WOLVES comes to the ALPEN FLAIR FESTIVAL

Barley Arts adds a new name to the list of bands that will perform at the metal gathering par excellence in the Italian Alps: after the Canadians Three Days Grace on stage at theAlpen Flair Festival by Natz (BZ) there will also be the Bad Wolves, direct from California. Appointment for all lovers of the genre Thursday, 20 June 2019. Tickets for the event are already available on the official festival website.

Bad Wolves are a superband metal e progressive rock recently formed, consisting of the singer Tommy Vext (formerly of Divine Heresy and Snot), drummer John Boecklin (formerly Devildriver), by bassist Kyle Konkiel (formerly In This Moment) and guitarists Doc Coyle (formerly God Forbid) and Chris Cain (formerly Bury Your Dead). The band formed in 2017 and became famous thanks to their cover in the key of heavy metal of one of the most intense pieces of music history, Zombie of Cranberries, a historic band from Dolores O'Riordan. The official video for this cover of the Bad Walves, in which Dolores herself was originally supposed to appear, reached over 33 million views on YouTube.

The band released its debut album in 2018 entitled Disobey (Eleven Seven), containing the cover of Zombie and anticipated by the individual Hear Me Now e Remember When. This work pushes the boundaries that the various members of the band had previously crossed, explores new musical territories and upon hearing it has a different impact on the fans who previously followed the individual musicians. The album contains rock, metal and hip hop elementsIt is a work full of contamination and experimentation.

"When I heard the first auditions I was impressed because what we were doing was creative and experimental. I finally had a chance to do new things." He said Tommy, lead singer of the band. "Everything was natural once we decided we were going to be a band." He continued John, the drummer. "There are so many different songs on our album, we've broadened our views and broken down the walls. And then there's Tommy who makes everything on a higher level, his performances are so powerful!"
