From 30 March to 4 April, Officine Creative Ansaldo, the new multifunctional space managed by Barley Arts in collaboration with the City of Milan, will host the live selections of the 1'M Festival.
At the Goose the young up-and-coming musicians who have passed the first online selections, will battle it out in a guitar battle for a chance to take the stage that every young musician has dreamed of once in their life. The contest will allow six emerging bands to perform on stage at one of the biggest free concerts, the May Day concert (promoted by CGIL CISL UIL) and one of them - the overall winner - to be able to occupy a slot in prime time during live television broadcast.
The 3 April special guest of the event the indie folk duo Brigittethe new French cool band formed by the sisters Sylvie Hoarau and Aurélie Maggiori.
Their debut album Et vous, tu m'aimes? (2011) not only went platinum in France but also won over foreign audiences. Their name, a clear reference to the famous Bardot, best sums up their music and style: retro, feminine, fun and undoubtedly... très chic!
