NORAH JONES:THE MILAN FORUM IS TINGED WITH POETRY

The phenomenon NORAH JONES is coming to Italy for three well-deservedly successful concerts. The Forum and Paladozza will be set up in a theatrical version, with appropriate seating and stage design (Only a few tickets remain for the Milan and Bologna concerts, while the Rome Auditorium is sold out.).

Four months after the release of "Feels like home"It has sold eight million copies worldwide, is at the top of the world charts, and is still in the top ten best-selling albums in Italy.

The singer and pianist, accompanied by her band (Lee Alexander, bass, Kevin Breit, guitar, Andrew Borger, drums, Adam Levy, guitar, and Daru Oda, keyboards and backing vocals), will perform songs from her two celebrated albums: "Come away with me" (Norah Jones' debut album released two years ago, which has sold 18 million copies worldwide, including 150.000 in Italy, earning the singer and pianist countless platinum records and eight Grammy Awards) and 'Feels Like Home'.

"FEELS LIKE HOME" is produced by NORAH JONES (born in New York City in 1979, raised in Grapevine, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, then moved to New York in 2000) and Arif Mardin (also producer of "Come Away with Me"). The album (on which Jones sings, plays piano, Wurlitzer electric piano and pump organ) features thirteen new tracks, seven of which she wrote or co-wrote. But each member of the band that accompanies the singer-songwriter live also contributed to the album's tracks.

On the album, NORAH JONES performs a song by Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan (The long way home), and one by Townes Van Zandt (Be Here To Love Me). Furthermore, taking Duke Ellington's instrumental 'Melancholia' as a basis, Jones wrote a lyric entitled 'Don't miss you at all'.

FEELS LIKE HOME' also features such stars as Dolly Parton (in Creepin' in), Levon Helm and Garth Hudson of The Band (in 'What Am I to You'), drummer Brian Blade, guitarists Jesse Harris and Tony Scherr and keyboardist Rob Burger.
