NEW ALBUM AND TOUR FOR THE ARCHIVE: THREE DATES IN ITALY IN NOVEMBER

After releasing the double cult album "Controlling Crowds Part I & IV", following which they toured Italy three times, The Archive announce the release of their next long-awaited studio work, titled "With Us Until You're Dead" and a series of new dates in Europe, including three stops in Italy, from November 22 to 24: in order they will be at New Age in Roncade, Circolo degli Artisti in Rome and Magazzini Generali in Milan.

The new album promises to be the classic work of The Archive, with the confirmation of four distinct voices, under the artistic direction of the two leaders and producers Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths. The sounds range from Massive Attack to Radiohead and Pink Floyd.
To categorise them as trip-hop would be reductive, although it is perhaps the definition that comes closest to their musical style. It's hard to pin the Archive down to a specific genre, and in almost fifteen years of activity they have ranged from electronic to progressive, from alternative rock to britpop. Their last two works, 'Controlling Crowds' and the consequent 'Controlling Crowds Part IV', have been the culmination of this mixture of genres, also due to the numerous influences coming from all the band's collaborators. In fact, the Archive can be identified as a sort of collective that revolves around composers and producers Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths, and that consists of nine other elements among singers, musicians and arrangers.
The forthcoming album will be preceded by the single 'Violently', the video of which is already available online.
