OVER 3000 TICKETS SOLD IN 5 HOURS FOR THE LIVE RETURN OF CURE IN 2008

While even the latest data released by Siae on concert attendance and record sales do not bode well, fortunately there is news to counter the trend: in 5 hours, and for now on the Ticketone circuit alone, almost 3,000 tickets have been sold for the 2 concerts that The Cure will be held in five months' time in Rome and Milanrespectively the 29 February and 2 March 2008.
To be exact, at 6 p.m. today, tickets sold amounted to 1129 for the concert at Palalottomatica in Rome e 1900 at Palasharp, Milan.

An astonishing figure in several respects: in fact, if it can be taken almost for granted that Bruce Springsteen sells out in just under two hours i 10,000 tickets available for its only date with the E-Street Band on 28 November 2007 at Datchforum Milan (it happened on 10 September), the rush to get a ticket for a band announcing two concerts, next year and without a new album to promote, is not so obvious. It all becomes plausible, however, when one considers that the band in question is The Cure from Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Porl Thompson and Jason Cooperthe band that turns every live show into a legend worthy of its own legend, the band that has never disappointed the expectations of its fans, the band that fans never disappoint. From tomorrow Friday, 5 October, the remaining tickets will also be available at the other usual points of sale.
