Bouquet of Madness

Born from the friendship between Martina and Federica , Bouquet of Madness quickly won over Italian listeners, reaching the top of the best podcast charts on the main listening platforms . Bouquet of Madness – BOM for friends – talks about the strangest, most absurd and mysterious crime stories in Italy and around the world, without solutions but with many questions: in each episode Federica and Martina tell us two stories with a pleasant hint of black humor, bringing to light the absurdities of human behavior. To date, Bouquet of Madness has a spin-off – MiniBom , available by subscription only on Spotify – as well as a very long series of live shows and participation in festivals and events including Lucca Comics . Their way of telling stories and creating catchphrases such as the human labrador , the wafflers and beautiful* has gathered around them a very fierce fanbase of BOMers who can't wait to meet them in person. The first bud of the idea appeared several months before the actual production of the first episode and it was just a wish, a promise: "Wouldn't it be nice to have a project together?" Both Federica and Martina follow numerous podcasts, and the choice of the theme was also immediate, even though the two approach true crime differently: Martina is methodical and loves to immerse herself in the dark , Federica does it as a counterphobic and the thing she is most afraid of in the world are serial killers . The podcast title is inspired by Ophelia's madness monologue in Shakespeare's Hamlet , in which she describes the Bouquet of Madness: " There is sense even in her madness; thoughts and memories alike. " Laertes says, as Ophelia illustrates the flowers she has adorned her hair with along the way to madness . Martina  has been making videos on YouTube for years and always has trouble explaining to people what her channel is about. That's why she opened a second one, exclusively dedicated to Nordic culture. She's passionate about true crime and in her free time you can find her online watching videos of funny dogs. She recently landed on Twitch, the social network where young people play cool video games. She's live every day because she doesn't have a social life. Federica  has been making videos on Youtube for a lifetime, she writes and almost all her heroes died hundreds of years ago. She is passionate about horror and science fiction, and she has four cats.
