PUSH THE BUTTON : THE FIFTH ALBUM BY THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS IS RELEASED TODAY. WAITING FOR 1 MARCH.

As anticipation rises for the concert that the Fratellini Chimici will hold at the Milan Forum on 1March, the new studio work is released today, Push The Button. 11 years and 8 million albums after emerging from the undergrowth of Britain's most underground club culture, The Chemical Brothers are back.
With their 'Push The Button', Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands prove once again that when it comes to beat-based innovation, inspired collaborations and pure sonic excellence, the Chemical Brothers are unrivalled.

The first single extracted, 'Galvanize', is an impressive track with an almost Middle Eastern flavour, featuring Q-Tip, a true legend and member of A Tribe Called Quest.
The long-standing partner Tim Burgess continues the sequence of sublime collaborations with 'The Boxer'.
Also representing the hip-hop world that has always been Ed and Tom's first love is Anwar Superstar, brother of Mos Def and vocalist on 'Left Right'.

From the opposite end of the cultural spectrum comes Kele Okereke, singer of the new art-rock band Bloc Party; his choppy, mantric singing in 'Believe' explains why he is considered one of the most interesting new frontmen on the British scene.
'Close Your Eyes', on the other hand, takes us back to the more psychedelic soul of the earlier collaborations between Chemical and Mercury Rev or Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips; this time their creative partners are the hailed The Magic Numbers, a quartet consisting of two pairs of brothers who are causing quite a stir on the London live circuit. You can hear their Mamas & the Papas-style harmonies for the first time on this very disc....

This is The Chemical Brothers in 2005: and as always they bring you the best, and the newest, before everyone else. Stay tuned to their planet: pulsating, divinely produced, extraordinarily brave, extremely infectious.
