After last year's sell-out, the Breakbeat Guru returns to Milan with an exceptional team: the talented New Zealand Mc Such Livethe hardcore fury of Mc Dynamite and the avant-garde mind of DJ Krust. All elements that delineate a magical evening for those who grew up to the sounds of beats, techno, drum'n bass and jungle. More than two hours of unbridled and intense rhythms to greet the day and enter the most chaotic and overwhelming night.
Roni Size was born and raised in booming England Acid House, a new musical concept of the early 1990s inspired by rave parties, from which important names such as Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Tricky, and Massive Attack. If today Roni Size is considered the Midas King of jungle, it is thanks to his great ability to quaff new sounds on a record that is in itself historic - New Forms - which won the prestigious Mercury Music Prize in '97. The extreme exaltation of the tracks' bass lines, their broken rhythms greatly accelerated compared to the classic 4/4 beat of house music gave new life to the people of the night. First with the transversal project BreakBeat Era in a vocal and rather funky key, then with this latest production, aggressive and ultra-syncopated, Roni Size and companions (Dj Die, Krust, Mc Dynamite, Suv) have attempted to give new stimuli and above all a future to drum'n'bass.
