TONIGHT IN CONCERT AT THE DINERS THEATRE IN MILAN

Exactly one year after the concert of the YES in Italy in full force, here is the chance to see STEVE HOWE again, in this case with his solo project, in the company of the Remedy. The YES guitarist, who Rolling Stone recently listed among the 100 cult guitarists in rock history, brings to the stage his latest production ELEMENTS, a 6-song album, many of them instrumental, "a decidedly progressive rock record, centred on guitar, with some cues taken from jazz and blues". In reality, both genres have ample space in a work that at times appears perfectly in line with the YES brand and at others reveals a happy blend of sophisticated music that goes beyond easy genre classifications.

Howe himself acknowledges that he is still in a very happy artistic vein: 'Fortunately, the same energy that drove me in my early years continues to not betray me. I'm also fortunate to have a recognised status as a guitarist that doesn't have to be reaffirmed every time, so I can allow my ideas to come to fruition freely. What's more, I also have the fundamental support of my family. Indeed, no small part in REMEDY and in this latest work, Elements, are played by Steve Howe's two eldest sons, VIRGIL (keyboards and harmonica) and DYLAN (drums). While the songs were all written by his father, he himself admits that the band's input (apart from Dylan and Virgil, RAY FENWICK on the second guitar and DERRICK TAYLOR on bass) was crucial in defining the details and the final sound.
"Progressive rock is subject to continuous evolution. Remedy has focused on everything that has influenced me over the years, helped fine-tune the rhythm and harmony, the heart of the music, everything that is needed to achieve the main goal, which is the sonic experience. Elements is very close to that goal."

The same 'sound experience' that Steve Howe promises to recreate live, at the TEATRO DINERS della LUNA in Milan in the only Italian concert that is part of a European tour of very few dates, which started in Coventry in England on 2 March and ends on the 20th in Barcelona.
