James Morrison

James Morrison is an English singer-songwriter. He has sold about 4 million records worldwide. His musical style was influenced at a young age by listening to artists such as Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Van Morrison and Al Green. James Morrison had a troubled adolescence (a broken family, the burden of debt, few prospects) that proved to be a source of inspiration for his music. However, there was also a lot of love, romance, warmth and laughter - factors that spurred him on in the darkest moments. "Everyone had difficult times growing up," he declares, "Most of the emotions in my singing stem from my upbringing. And the lyrics are abundant testimony to that"..
